The main part of the essay

"The number of pages in the finished essay usually does not exceed 3-4 pages, so the main part is the most important element of the work. It reflects the personal opinion of the author to the problem under discussion."

The structure of the main part consists of theses and arguments. First, the author of the essay offers the reader a thesis, that is, a briefly formulated definite thought. Then comes the argument. He can prove that the given thought is true, if the author agrees with the thesis, or that the thought is erroneous, in the case of the author’s objection. Arguments should concisely demonstrate how the author came to this or that judgment, they can be based on personal experience, on the experience of other people, on historical events and facts. If you wish, you can add an intermediate conclusion after each pair of “thesis - arguments” to make it easier for the reader to trace the chain of your thoughts.

 Example:

Thesis - the computer has replaced the book. Arguments - I agree with these words, because in my home library only a few books, and with the help of the Internet I find almost any book at any time. Now there is no need to go to the library to take an old torn book or spend a lot of money to buy a new one. In specialized stores, prices for books are too high, and on the Internet in most cases you can download a book for free. So books became more accessible.

Intermediate conclusion: technical progress makes people's lives easier.

Thesis - scientific progress should not be ahead of the cultural and moral development of man. Argument - this is an example from life, confirming this thought. Once, residents of developed countries decided to help an African tribe living near the equator. Young Africans were trained to grow rice, gave them tractors and sowing tools. After a year, the benefactors returned to see how life had changed for the tribe who had gained knowledge and technique. They were disappointed when they found out that the Africans still live according to old customs: they sold the equipment to farmers, and with the money they received was a holiday for the coins they received.

Intermediate conclusion: a person needs to grow to the realization of his needs, it is impossible to change a person against his will.

Alternate theses and arguments in the main part can be an unlimited number of times - as many as the author will need to substantiate the reader’s point of view.

In the main part, you can use the following cliches:

Firstly Secondly Thirdly; eg; I agree with the writer; unfortunately, I do not quite agree with the point of view of the author; We illustrate this judgment with an example; on the one hand on the other hand.

After familiarizing the reader with the main part, he should have his own opinion on the problem in question, he must either accept or reject the point of view of the author.

How to write a biography essay?

"The task of the essay is to develop abilities, as an independent creative thinking and a written statement of personal thoughts."

Writing an essay is very good, because it allows the creator to learn to clearly and competently express thoughts, structure information, apply principal opinions, highlight causal relationships, illustrate skill with proper examples, prove your own conclusions.

More topical topic for an essay of a young expert is the content of "I and my career." The topic of the essay is given for this, so that the commission (employer) was simply to assess the features of your thinking, creative possibilities, excitement and potential. The best way to achieve such a result is to scribble straight and uncovered, while remaining conscientious with oneself. If you are not true, there is every chance, in fact, that your essay will be considered unnatural.

Essay writing rules

-  From the formal rules of writing an essay, it is possible to name only one thing - the presence of the title.
-  The internal design of the essay can be random. Because this is a small configuration of written work, it does not require an inherent repetition of conclusions at the end; they have all chances to be integrated into the leading word or into the title.
-  Motivation has the ability to precede the formulation of difficulty. The wording of the difficulty has the opportunity to coincide with the final conclusion.
-  Unlike the essay, which is addressed to every reader, in consequence of this comes with "I try to tell about ...", and ends "I came to the coming conclusions ...", an essay is a replica addressed to a prepared reader (listener). That is, a person who, in aggregate, already gives what it is about. This allows the creator of the essay to concentrate on disclosing fresh and not cluttering up the presentation with official components.

How to write an essay biographical type?

Autobiography means biography. This essay is considered a description of the events of life. It is possible to tell about the fate of a certain person, writer, actor, artist, or to describe the life of a metropolis, or including the state.

In such an essay, as in a simple story, actions take place. It develops in time. But no strings. No plot. Actions about which you will speak are simply listed in chronological order.

In the story of a person, you tell when and where a person appeared, when, where and how he studied, where he spent his infancy, received recognition, etc. Naturally, key actions are chosen. The story goes from the past to the real, then to the future.

The purpose of an biography-type essay is considered not to be an elementary story about a person, megalopolis, book, but to recruit the interest of the reading public to some socially significant task.

So how do you write an essay?
